MOHAWK

Mohawk is one of my favourite games but I’ve never been able to create decent A.I. for the French. Inspired by Field Commander Napoleon’s Enemy Orders rules, I tried to apply them to Mohawk and failed.

The problem is, these Enemy Orders rules are area based while the war fought in America was linear based. I persevered though and kept working on my old linear solo rules. I am now satisfied that the French will give me a good game with the rules I’ve ended up with.

During solo rule design, I played one game, losing because I didn’t roll enough Sea Lift points to carry out a landing at Quebec in 1760.
