After surfing the net for many weeks, checking out basically all the boardgame publishers on the planet, I opted to approach dvg.com in connection with my boardgame Hill of Doves. I liked what I saw on their website and already owned Hornet Leader and Thunderbolt-Apache Leader.

I decided that the first step would be to purchase one of their games so I ordered Field Commander Alexander. I completed 4 Linked Campaigns scoring 550, 686, 534 and 652 Immortality Points.

This is an absolutely great game, so full of historic atmosphere and military challenge! I created Foraging & Resistance Tables to aid the player in planning moves in advance . I have published these on boardgamegeek.com and have had 101 downloads so far. I also created  a Random Campaign Options Table where options are rolled for rather than chosen. A word of warning, Granicus with Memnon’s Scorched Earth and Memnon’s Raiding Fleet is an extremely tough campaign!
